Later the next day, when we were in our hotel suites, we looked at the numerous pictures we had taken in the park and cherished the memories. That was the best trekking experience of my life time and my friends agreed on that too. Tomorrow, we will be returning to our hometowns though we really don’t want to leave this remarkable place. I cannot wait to tell my family and friends about the best holiday I’ve ever had!
Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary And Mollem National Park Goa : A Place You Would Visit Not Just Once!11/14/2013 Travelling to Goa with my friends was one of the most awaited events of this year and after two long months of intense planning, we reached this beautiful place to spend our five days’ break. It is indeed one of the most happening tourist destinations with people swarming in beaches and the night life is pretty amazing. Being a nature lover and an adventurer, I also love visiting sanctuaries and parks where I would be given a chance to render a feast to my eyes and soul. And therefore, we decided to visit the National park that lies at a stone throw distance from Mollem. Unless you’re on a guided tour, however, you might also have problems actually gaining access to the park’s quiet, shady, unmarked trails. Waterfalls, luxurious flora and exotic fauna found at that spectacular place were breathtaking and we were also lucky enough to get a few glances of the panthers, wild boar and porcupine. We stayed within the sanctuary in a dormitory and this was an experience in itself as monkeys were on our doorstep and lizards on our walls. We also had a tour to a local village and an insight into the lives of the locals, lovely welcoming people, then to the river to bathe the elephants and have a shower from them. The elephants seemed cared for and it was such an amazing experience to be so close to them. Just being around these animals made the trip for me and I promised myself that I would definitely return.
