After a good trip of the ISKCON temple at Ahmedabad, I went to visit the town of Jamnagar which is a coastal area. There are many good places to hang out in the city of Jamnagar but the first place which I visited was the famous beach of the town known as Sivrajpur Beach. The beach is located about 12 km from the town of Dwarka on the way to Okha and is one of the most tranquil beaches one can find in the state of Gujarat.

The best thing about the place is the quietness present there. It is one of the under explored beaches of the state which distinguishes it from others. The water of the sea is very clear and the beach is also very well maintained with no garbage and litter around. One can spend a lovely day sitting near the sea side and enjoy watching the sea waters kissing the beach.

There are no food stalls which can be found anywhere near the beach so it is advised to carry your own water and food. The place is very isolated from the main town and hence it is also advised not to venture there late at night. The beach is very good to enjoy swimming in the water of the sea. One can experience total bliss and solitude at the Sivrajpur beach of Jamnagar.
The place is totally free from pollution and all the noises and hustle bustle of the city. It was a much needed break alone when I could spend time with myself. I enjoyed the afternoon sitting in on the beach and letting the cool breeze caress my face. The feeling was simply superb and mind blowing. I spent some 3 hours relaxing at the beach and how time flew I didn’t come to know.

After the visit to the Sivrajpur beach of Jamnagar I headed back to my hotel for spending the night. The hotel which I had booked for this trip was one of the best 5 star hotel and resort of Gujarat known as Greenwoods Lake Resort & Spa.
